Juice or Smoothie...or both? - The Garden Eatery

Juice or Smoothie...or both?

As we enter into the second week of January with Lockdown 3 in full swing, there seems to be a communal (and completely understandable) sense of low energy and mood. It feels a lot more difficult to muster up the usual motivation we tend to have at this time of year to re-establish healthy habits.

Don’t be too hard on yourself if this is the case, with the ongoing news messing with our usual routines and taking up so much headspace, it’s no wonder we feel exhausted. Be patient with yourself if this is the case - take it slow; those healthy routines will return when you have space for them.

In the meantime, considering a few realistic things we can do, or add into our diet / lifestyle, when there is time, could help to give us a positive boost!

Picking up one of our Garden juices or smoothies is a really easy way to ensure you are getting some all important vitamins and nutrients into your body, especially when you feel like you’re lacking the motivation, time or creativity to prioritise healthy choices. When you have so much to juggle, it can feel like a relief knowing you’re getting some quality nutrition from one of our colourful bottles!

Whether it’s helping to kick-start your healthy habits, or picking up a juice or smoothie for some added nutrients, hopefully today’s blog will help you to find a drink that suits your daily needs, along with learning a little more about the difference between the two.

Our juices and hot tonics are a quick and convenient way to absorb key vitamins and nutrients into the body. As they are juiced, the fibrous pulp is removed, which allows larger quantities of the fruit / vegetable (and its benefits) to be packed into one bottle.
Our smoothies are blended, and as the ingredients from the whole fruit/veggies remain, these drinks are fibre rich! As well as containing all of the nutrients from the ingredients used to create the drink, the remaining fibre leaves us feeling fuller for longer and can help to support digestive health.
Each of which a really healthy addition to a balanced diet!

See our list of juices and smoothies below and consider which would suit your daily needs.
