Filled with warming flavours, these cacao and cinnamon snacks work as a nutritious energy boost and won't fail to leave you feeling festive!
If you manage to save a few, they could also be a perfect addition to the Christmas dinner table!
2tbsp Goji Berries/ Dried Cranberries
2tbsp Cacao Powder
2tsp Ground Cinnamon
1tsp Ground Ginger
Juice of an Orange
Desiccated Coconut (optional or for topping)
Soak the dates in boiling water for 10 minutes until they soften. Blitz the nuts in a food processor/ blender until they reach ground consistency.
Add the dates and goji berries to the nut mix and blitz again until mixture becomes thick and soft.
Add the cacao, ground spices, and orange and blend once more until mixture is smooth.
Remove from blender and roll into bite size balls. Coat with coconut or melted dark chocolate if you wish.
Refrigerate to set before eating.
